So, this afternoon my boyfriend, Kyle, and I saw the movie Julie & Julia, starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams. Aside from being a fantastic movie, it inspired Kyle to start blogging and guess who got dragged into it too...
That's right, yours truly.
So, I've never blogged before; the closest I've come is updating my status on Facebook and Twitter. I've attempted to keep journals before, but my ability to follow through has sadly been lacking. I'm hoping that by putting this out there for all the world to see, I'll stick with it. After all, the web is a much more public arena for failure than my sad stack of dusty, slightly filled journals.
My goal for this blog is to talk about a little of everything - my life, my job, my family, my friends, movies, books, music, concerts, cooking, baking, traveling, etc.
As I'm sure you can gather from the name of my blog, I'm a tax accountant and I spend my days drowning in piles of tax returns. It may not have been the smartest thing to start this blog as the tax world approaches two IRS deadlines and expect to post regularly, but hey - we'll see how it all unfolds!
